Thinking about time and sequence in this new image, I added cut-up Cyanotypes of plants to my collage and then slowly shifted my materials during the photographic process. The technique of making Digital Solargrams evolved out of my process and my research into the history of cameraless photography. "Drawing with the sun" (as early Cyanotypes were called) is not a new invention, it is one of the earliest forms of photography, but I think have created a new approach using digital tools.
