Started in 2015 with the Jerome Emerging Artist Fellowship, there are currently over a hundred images in this series that documents changes in an urban prairie during the course of one year. Each image is made of plants, cut-up photographs, plastics, and painted marks. All of the plant materials were collected from the swatches of urban prairie along the train tracks, transit way and other peripheral spaces in my city neighborhood.
